History

OneOS® Technology started in 2006 in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, to meet the demand caused by the migration from Microsoft® to Linux at small businesses. Services included specialized training, customized desktops for OEMs (microcomputer manufacturers) and meeting the needs of the Ministry of Science and Technology's "Connected Citizen - Computers for All" program.

Due to our high performance, we were the first firm authorized as an Ubuntu Solution Provider in Brazil, after being certified in 2007 by Mark Shuttleworth, founder of Canonical Group Limited.

Following an investment plan in 2008, OneOS® expanded its clientele and R&D program through partnerships with businesses such as Canonical (England), Encore (India), and Abba Blessing (China).

Today

We currently offer the following services based on our market research and customer needs:

1. Linux Operational System for thinclients, OEMs, corporate, educational and final users
2. Corp Server OneOS® server at a low cost for telecenters, city governments, inner city neighborhoods and smart communities
3. Low cost, energy efficient and long-lasting "Green IT" equipment (notebooks, netbooks and work stations)
4. Training and consulting
